I'm not saying this is a bad case or anything, but I'm 99% sure it is MDF. I don't have the link as I don't remember where I saw this but somebody sanded this thing down and it was MDF.

What do you expect for $49 shipped???

I sanded one of mine down and it was MDF, but dont let that deter your decision. This a great case, the strongest case I have owned and looks really nice. Granted its not real mahogany but what do you expect for that kind of money. The case actually holds close to 600 chips in the top and bopttom racks. I stood on mine when I was about 240lbs (pre-surgery) and it held me just fine.

Kudos to Jason for offering up a great case for a great price

How close to 600 chips? I just ordered 600 in the ASM group buy and I'm looking for a case.
