Just kidding. Good enough for me. Problem is that I do Not know how to change or edit my Title and delete the "Nexgen". Can a mod do this for me?
Thanks Joe. |

I can tell you that the progen chips definitly feel more like plastic then the others and in the recess area on one side of the progen chips there are four dimples or circular marks that i don't see on the casino davinci or the Pi chips.
3) Since I have been here for the last 8 months and have read and participated in the posts about all of these chips, as Joe has stated in past threads, there my actually be some difference in materials, mold, and Quality control. They all just may not be the same as you are guessing.
4) I said that I was written to by a person selling chips on ebay and he said that he gets the chips he is selling from nexgen. Now if Nexgen is having them made in a different place then the rest of their inventory I don't know, but how does that not make them Nexgen chips. And if they are Nexgen chips then why should we call then something else?
5) I am not saying that I am positive that they are made by Nexgen but the fact that the name Progen is used in there description on more than 1 site that has them for sell, I would not be at all surprised if since the two names have a similar sound that you obviously missed, that they may actually be Nexgen Progen 80 chips. But I may just be using to much logic here.
6) It also may just be a crazy coincidence but it seems that the places selling the progen 80 chips also sell Nexgen chips, just like the seller from ebay that assured me that he gets them from Nexgen. | Joe did a great Job answering all these questions...but one key point to re-iterate to people....Nexgen IS NOT a company name. Nexgen is a silly name created by Trademark/5Stardeal. This is why I dont like these chips being called Nexgen...they are excellent chips, they dont deserve to be categorized into the plastic chip arena.
95% of "online company's" (99% on EBAY) drop ships all their poker chips...this is why the same places that sell Nexgen will sell ProGen and all the other products you see at 5stardeal.
If this Ebay seller assured you he got them from Nexgen....LOL... good luck with that. All the ebay seller is doing is taking your order, entering into Trademarks Merchant site and waiting for Trademark/5Star to ship your chips.
Regardless of all this nonesense, they are good chips...and Hogwild is offering them at a great price! |

( not too fond of Wallson or Great Walls either LOL)
Always like Palm Classics but I am sure there would be grief over that name-
at any rate- great chips- great price from Hog- PLUS he does labels-- its a winning combination |

If you dont like them catagorized with what you feel are inferior chips then you should take that up with the ones who are giving them the name to begin with. Dont fault others for using the name the product has been given. |

I'll pay more attention tonight when I get home but at this point any feel difference is negligible. |

I hear they are pretty darn close to the feel and sound of Paulson's!! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
