PaulsonPoker.com Q & A
This Q&A is offered to help answer some questions we have seen about the launch of the Paulson Pro Series Poker Chips, offered at PaulsonPoker.com.
We appreciate the expertise and enthusiasm of the members of ChipTalk.net, and will keep an eye on the Forums and try to answer any questions or concerns that may come up. Some answers need direct clarification from GPI so I can give you the best accurate information. The answers are subject to change.
Q: Who are these guys?
A: We are an Internet Marketing and Sales company based in Illinois with a broad array of products and services for sale, both direct to consumers and at the wholesale level.
Q: Are we legit?
A: Yes, we are legitimate. We work directly with GPI. The chip sets are shipped directly from GPI’s warehouse facilities. We are linked directly from GPI’s company page:
Gaming Partners International - History. We are working with GPI to reach their goal of reaching the Home Poker Enthusiast.
Q: Are the dimensions accurate
A: Yes, they are 41mm, 3.3mm thick. We had the weight incorrectly listed as 12 grams but thanks to JM, and members of the ChipTalk.net we are correcting listed weights to 8.25 grams

GPI Response: The 8 grams is correct, since we did not use Zinc Oxide in the formula, raw material that adds weight. This was done to reduce direct cost.

Q: Who designed the Paulson Pro Series chips.
A: Designers working with GPI Gaming designed the chips. There are plans to add more designs in the near future. We plan on benefiting from some of the feedback we have seen here to provide designs that hold more appeal to your members.
Q: Will there be custom designs?
A: There are plans to allow for custom designs in the future, most likely this will be several inset designs with customer provided text overlays. We are also discussing the possibility that GPI would sponsor a design contest for a completely custom chip and if this is possible we will post more on the subject. Providing low-run all-custom designs is also being discussed, but the manufacturing process and care taken in setting up a new line may make it cost prohibitive.
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for any more questions, feel free to post here and we’ll get back to you. We are not GPI Gaming, just their retail partner, so we can’t speak for them, but we DO speak with them and will keep the channels of communication open between your membership and the fine folks at GPI.
Q: Are international orders available? question from: gaminos
A: At this time, no. However this is subject to change. We are seeing what the response is like in the US before shipping outside the Continental United States. We will let you know more after a discussion with GPI about this question.
