Custom Printed Plastic cards - Poll 6 - Color of Backs

Here are the final mockups from Gary. This poll will be open until Joe is ready to order. These are currently just for the poker size deck which we have voted for. As of right now, we have decided on:

Poker size
2 colors
Large Index
NO peeks
NO 4 color suits

Time to pick the backs.
The decks on the left will be called "dark", the decks on the left are "light".
So we have dark red on the left, light red on the right. You may choose UP TO FOUR. You may choose less. You may NOT choose more.

Re: Custom Printed Plastic cards - Poll 6 - Color of Backs

Wow, are these backs ever different from the earlier ones! I understand the direction, but this isn't the best set of backs for a "pick any 4 colours" question. It would be great if the question was "pick any 2 sets".

Just my .02 though.

The problem with having a "set" (inverted colors) is that if the two decks get mixed, it's harder to separate them.

That's ok 'cause we're not voting for a set ... but rather the individual backs. We could (and probably will) end up with 4 completely different colors. I probably won't vote for a coordinated deck myself (for the same reasons you state) but I REALLY like both of the grays so ... I dunno.

For example : Lt Red, Lt Yellow, Dark Gray, Dark Blue

Re: Custom Printed Plastic cards - Poll 6 - Color of Backs

If Joe is Ordering 2,00o Decks, does that mean we can have the top 8, & if this is the case, should we be voting for 8??

The voting is getting very interesting. Light and dark silver are doing very well. I am looking forward to seeing where this ends up.

Re: Custom Printed Plastic cards - Poll 6 - Color of Backs

Where did the other choices go? The four with the gold/yellow border color were still my favorites and there wasn't any decision made to exclude them from voting.

Re: Custom Printed Plastic cards - Poll 6 - Color of Backs

I apologize for any options which may have disappeared or didn't get included in the polls. I felt that, considering the numbers of people interested, number of options available and a quickly approaching deadline, some sort of parameters were necessary. I provided the options which seemed to receive the most enthusiastic responses, in the threads, figuring that even if the other options were made available they would probably not win and just further thin the votes, making the results that much more controversial. I know that there are some who do not see their favorite picks here. Please be assured it wasn't personal, or that I chose only MY favorites. I certainly didn't.

Sorry again ...
Gary
