The back design should look/read the same, even if turned 180 degrees ...
Thanks for the idea! I will get something prototyped and posted first chance I get. Also, I don't want to speak out of turn, but I believe that this design will be available on both Bridge and Poker sizes. I have only mocked up poker size to verify the design. Once we are happy with the design I will go through the process of reducing it for Bridge size.

Thanks,
Gary

I'd prefer bridge size and regular index, and, oh yeah, four colors

Re: Custom Printed Plastic cards- coming soon- small quantity orders ok

Before I get all excited about what possible combos there will be for the face and size, Joe, can you let us know which options will be available?

As in...

How many pips?
Which size deck?
2 vs 4 colors?
Poker peek index? Jumbo Index?

Any suggestions are VERY welcome!!

I gotta say, those look amazing. Hopefully if this design stays very similar to this initial mockup I would be down for at least 10 decks to go with my PCR Chip order.

GARYON -:
If you look at the photo down in post # 57 here:
Home Poker Tourney Forums

You can see the problems that "Shark" cards have with full-bleed (ink to edge) backs.....
IF these cards happen to be made in the same factory, you may want to add a small white border around the edge to eliminate the ink chip/marked cards problem ... I love full-bleed backs myself

Re: Custom Printed Plastic cards- coming soon- small quantity orders ok

I have asked Joe what the actual PRINTABLE dimensions of the card are. Originally I was expecting to that kind of a white border around the edges (1/8 -1/4 inch) would be required, but the more I look at these mock-ups the more I like the full bleed myself.

I will mock up a version of each and see how what everyone thinks.

I had actually read that thread a while back. Midnight Rose did a fantastic review. Very helpful!! Thanks for refreshing my memory though!!

Probably to "play it safe", a thin white border would be smart to avoid any possible problems, although the full bleed is more eye appealing.
Modiano cristallos seem to combine the "look of both": (& I LIKE THOSE CRISTALLO TYPE COLORS IF YOU FEEL LIKE DOING A MOCK UP ) :
Modiano Cards -> Products

Re: Custom Printed Plastic cards- coming soon- small quantity orders ok

I'd definitely prefer a white border if it would combat the problem of the Sharks in the other thread. Are the Sharks the cards we are getting, or was that just a review of a different card to show the chipping problem of some cards?
