That was Stymie. My favorite is the spelling be when they ask Darla to spell the word dictate and she spells it D-I-C-T-A-T-E. Miss Crabtree says correct and then asks Buckwheat to use it in a sentence. Maybe that wasn't a show! lol

I think he actually lived longer than most of the kids. The oldest of the Black kids was Farina maybe he was the one who died in WW2.
