Re: PI .30c PRIVATE CARDROOM GB ORDER THREAD

Joe would 100 chips fit in a flat rate envelope?

I previously got 75 Faux Clay from another CTer, in a flat rate envelope. He placed them on a sheet or cardboard and taped clear plastic over them the make a thin sandwich that he then slid inside the envelope. However, be warned - there will be movement. Movement = wear. My FCs were just fine, but YMMV.

Re: PI .30c PRIVATE CARDROOM GB ORDER THREAD

I need a bit of help determining my distribution.

Right now I have a 250 chip 11.5g dice set that I paid less than $10 for on clearance. It will promptly go in the trash once I get my new chips so this will be my only set.

I need a multi-purpose set to cover 4 activities:

1. Boardgames - I play many euro style board games such as Power Grid and Puerto Rico (if curious, see BoardGameGeek | Gaming Unplugged Since 2000) and I replace the paper money or scoring bits with chips. For this I need 50 each of the $1, $5, $10, $25, and $100.

2. Blackjack - We play an occasional cash game that could get by with the boardgame chips above plus a few .25 chips and some NCV chips for $2.50 to pay blackjacks.

3. Cash Poker- We play $20 buy-in and .25 smallest blind with up to 10 players. With Matthew's great post ( http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/poker-...-games-ii.html) it recommends these chips:

120 x 25¢
120 x $1
100 x $5
60 x $10

4. Tourney- I have not done a tourney but would like to be able to do it in the future figuring for 10 people. Matthew's above thread for a T5000 suggests:
  • 120 x T25
  • 120 x T100
  • 100 x T500
  • 60 x T1000
If I adjust this down to a T100 set to maximize the chip use overlap, I get roughly:
  • 120 x T1
  • 120 x T5
  • 100 x T25
  • 60 x T100
Totaling this all up, it gives me around a 650 chip set.

And if I make the green 25 = .25 during the cash game and economize a bit more I can narrow it down to around a 550 chip set. Not sure I want a bunch of .25 chips anyway though it might drive me nuts during the cash games, I am not sure.
