I was holding off ... I decided that I would vote for 2 "classic" and 2 "casino" style designs.

I gotta tell ya' ... even at this level this was harder than I thought it would be. Particularly the Casino designs. While I don't typically care for 'fantasy casino' type of chips, these were all very nicely done. VERY VERY hard to decide!

I am always in awe of the level of design on CT. I know this is what people are "supposed" to say ... but in all honesty and sincerity, EVERYONE has done a top-notch job and it really killed me to NOT vote for some of the designs.

EDIT: Out of curiosity ... why are some names in italic and others aren't ... am I over due on my forum fees or something? LOL

Re: 30¢ Compression Clay from PI - Design Contest Round 2

The names in italics are the members who you voted for. Also, I didn't realize it was pick 4 at first, maybe that should be mentioned strongly in the OP? Although it's a bit late now.

Unless of course you're waiting until the final hours to use your 2nd - 4th votes strategically!

Re: 30¢ Compression Clay from PI - Design Contest Round 2

I voted for Garyon and BMWGuy525 with Garyon being my top choice. I really like Garyons - I think it looks good and has universal appeal.

Re: 30¢ Compression Clay from PI - Design Contest Round 2

I know that Joe did this and there is nothing we can do about it, but has anyone else noticed that 5 of the 10 chip colors currently showing have purple in the edgespots?

I think I am just going to have to wait for solids.

Re: 30¢ Compression Clay from PI - Design Contest Round 2

I have yet to vote, but we need updated designs which include the 3 new colors available. WE NEED FRACTIONALS. There are plenty of chip colors now available so this should not be a problem.
Thanks to all the designers who submitted entries.

Re: 30¢ Compression Clay from PI - Design Contest Round 2

Although I only posted 4 denoms in my first submission, I plan to mock up the rest of the colors if I make it to the next round.

I am as impatient as you are! But we really have plenty of time. Joe just announced that three of the new colors will be included. That is HUGE! While it is not likely, there is still a possibility that the fabulous Chocolate Chip might make it in as well...

That may even make Steveo happy. >grin<

No one design is out until the polls close. Please use this thread and the time involved to guide the designers. No design will be final until it is either eliminated or printed.

I would like to suggest that we could use the time of Round 2 to try and decide on denominations. I will use supplemental polls as needed and they will all be linked to from the Initial Post.

Thank you,
Shane
