Look at the OP in the "Factory sanctioned group buy thread"

BTW: I like your design very much...hope you stay in this contest.

Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One

How about another Binions WSOP commemorative?

Or even just an old school Horseshoe club design (no Binions name).

CAN I GET SAMPLES OF THESE FIRST???

Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One

Gary, your reasoning on using the text format of the denom makes sense. How about resurrecting some of the other designs you've come up with assuming they haven't been used by another member for their personal set?

Did you have one in mind?

This is the only actual "Label" that I have worked on ... but it seemed too "thematic" for this use. Maybe I am wrong? CLICK ME

Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One

I am in the same boat with those that say it should be a simple, generic design. I think a lot of the designs are great, but to appeal to the masses, I think it needs to be something that has style but is very basic...so far, these are my favorites:

The one on the end with the actual number

with a darker inlay background and maybe a spade shape around the denoms

Maybe with the background muted a little bit more so the denoms stand out better

I also like the idea of what was done here by a CT member

Great job so far everyone!

Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One

I hear so many people say keep it simple

my PC crashed and ddo not have drawing capabilities right no but what about this

in the back ground repeat the denomination over and over and over, just smaller, could even use the secondary colors of the chip

Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One

If Joe's looking for a "house theme" to tie in with Palm Imports and their Florida-based company, here's my themed contender.

And while I do think this should be kept generic, we should really stay away from any designs close to what was submitted to the recent flood of ceramic group buys.

I really like the graphic on this one ... My thoughts ... for what they are worth ...

1. I would think about moving the "White Wolf" and the white silhouette "Logo" at the top to the other side. It looks crowded up there. Each side would be different (which I like) but it would un-clutter this side and keep the focus on the fantastic image you have going on. Plus the Logo by itself on the other side I think could look really nice.

2. The denominations need help ... new font, new color ... they don't stand out and yet, conversely are too big at the same time. Both the top and bottom seem crowded.

3. I LOVE the font used in the casino name ... looks very much like Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun (I think it's Mohegan Sun I'm thinking of). Gives it that "Indian Casino" feel.

Well ... I spent my 2cents. Looks very good!

This has that sort of "Casino Isthmus" feel. (That's a good thing )
