I also got rid of the triangles ... I still kinda liked them but I definitely was nowhere NEAR the consensus on that one!! LOL And I added the ZERO in front of the .25 as was suggested. I'm not crazy about it ... but then again ... I like the triangles so ... you be the judge!!

Also I added my 'mark' just below the bottom "Iron Flower". I use it to 'sign' the designs that I do. I tried to keep it subtle and out of the way. If there are any strong objections to it or if it's a deal breaker it can be removed.

Also a little bigger this time ... figured as we get down to the wire I want to make sure that there are no surprises for anyone, so I wanted to show as much detail as possible.

Shane ... I will PM you the links ...
Numbers please....That's what I'm talking about!

As a US-resident foreigner, I feel obliged to point out that the term 'quarter' (as in quarter dollar) is only in common use in the USA. So "Q" will not mean much to overseas buyers.

1/4 or .25?

Gary - they're your design. Go with your instinct, it has been good so far .

personally, I think it would be best to go with ".25" rather than "0.25"...I gotta say it again, those inlays look great!

I agree..no 0
But I may be in the total minority here, but for a group buy, and to appeal to the most people as possible, the chiptalk cardroom placeholder should not be words at all IMO. For a personal set, of course.( right Gary ) but for this, a small design I think is the way to go. No casino names or private cardroom names for the GB.
But , I am probably standing all alone on this one.

Great designs everyone

Hi Gary,

Personally, I like the "Private Cardroom" copy on the edges of your chip design but for those who don't like it maybe we could use copy whose theme is the group buy....something like "Limited Edition" or "Maiden Edition" or "Deluxe Edition".

That's 3cents worth....Mike

Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One

I have started the poll thread for the Round 2 (The Final Four). I am not able to post in the PalmImports Forum so I started it in the Group Buy Polls forum.
http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/group-...tml#post746218

Joe you may want to ask a moderator to move this to your forum. If that is done I will link back to it from the Group Buy forum.

I do not have image hosting abilities from work, nor access to Image Shack so many of the entries just have links to their threads at this time. I will correct this as soon as I am able.

Designers; you can assist this process by PM'ing me a link to your most recent artwork. (The actual image and not just your post) If you do not have the ability to host an image, Image Shack ImageShack® - Image Hosting is the prefered host for ChipTalk images and is free to register.

Thank you,
Shane
