Oops, sorry! I should have read through all of the posts before posting.
Haha oh no you're glasses are fine, it was my bad I put a different shadow effect on there that just distorted things, plus there's an outline on "Four Suits" that's not there on the denoms. Here's the newer version

Also I added my 'mark' just below the bottom "Iron Flower". I use it to 'sign' the designs that I do. I tried to keep it subtle and out of the way. If there are any strong objections to it or if it's a deal breaker it can be removed.
If you are going to keep the 0.25 I think you should put the same amount of space between "dot" and the "5" as there is between the "0" and the "dot". Right now it looks like the dot is touching the 5.

I don't know if you need the zero or not. You could put the two options side by side and then it would probably be obvious which one is correct.

This design looks great. You have incorporated a lot of changed since this began.

I think your mark on the chip looks just fine.

Have you tried a version with black denominations on all chips? I don't know if it would work but it might be worth a try.

I have but it just looks too flat as far as I'm concerned. There's not enough "design color" in the inlay to justify an all black denom.

Yep - see what you mean about the leading zero. Possible tweaks:
  • Increase spacing between the zero, decimal point and the 2 - they look kinda crowded.
  • Make the leading zero a smaller font size: 0.25
  • Make the 25 smaller; 0.25 (with the '25' as superscript?)

Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One

This is going to be a really tough vote.
There are many great looking designs on this one.
I have my vote button at the ready!
Good luck one and all.

I'm sorry, but the Zero in front of the decimal is really out of place.
I think it needs to be either .25 or 25¢ (i know there are people who want them to be no currency markings though).

What about placing either a Q or a ¼ on there? Or writing the word Quarter on both sides for that chip only.

I'm not sure what is right, but I know that 0.25 is the wrong way to go.

I like the idea of a "Q" ... never seen that before.
