Welcome to Chiptalk and to this group buy.

I'm sure that another 1000 - 1500 chips is music to Joe's ears.

The denoms are looking better. This may be overkill (and very tedious for you) but what about making the small white diamons on the chips look more like suits? As is they stand out a little too much in my opinion mostly because they're white. As is, they make the inlay look too busy. Overall, I think this design is taking shape nicely.

Really likin' how these are coming along! Two suggestions if I may be so bold ... (1 cent each)

1. The text on the border ... I would outline them all in the same color. The alternating colors on the text feels like its throwing the 'balance" off.
2. I would go with a different font for the denominations. And Use a lighter color. Again, this font feels too "cartoony" for this elegant but contemporary design.

I really like how you are blending very streamlined, contemporary elements into a very elegant, classy look! These are fantastic!!

Cha-Ching ... 2cents

Alright well it looks like people have started ruling out a bunch of designs already, but here's another shot at mine.

Nice. One advantage of your's is that it would not be so much of an issue if the label printed color did not/could not closely match the chips.

I certainly wouldn't rule out THIS design. I REALLY like this font for the denominations! Wonderful work!!

Good Luck!

Thanks. Still seems to be missing a finishing touch, looks like I'll have to go graphic ornament hunting tonight.

Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One

I agree. These are definitely IN the running, not out.

The white outline on the black text along with the drop shadow really makes it pop. Very nice. I think the same concept needs to be applied to the denom. They look a little fuzzy to me. It looks like they have an outer glow or something odd that is making them look that way. I'd again put a strong outline on them (black or white) and see how that looks. A very simple "ornament" may look good flanking the denoms, but I'd have to see it to say...
