Though it would totally screw up the breakdown I've already worked on I think it would be interesting to have some of the less traditional denoms such as the 2500.

Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One

I did some changes like the title, and added a rear design...

So, what do you think about it ?

I love it also, but i do think that the sheild shadow could be a little softer. Thanks for all the help, getting the text to line up was not fun, but well worth it. One more little tweek and I should be ready. Once again, thanks for all the help.

I think that the denoms get a little lost, even moving them to the front would help. But otherwise, I like the back better than the front.

Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One

To put in my 5c, I do not care what color people want. I use blue for one because the card room at cantabury in minnesota has blue $1 chips. My last trip to laughlin there was blue and white chips $1 chips. Sence I am looking at a tourney set because I bought my cash set during sidpots contest.

Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One

OK, I made some changes to make the overall design a little more generic.

Does anyone else find that the different chip images that we have been using to do the mock-ups, vary in color? will the winner get an opportunity to do adjust their color matching to the real chip colors?

I like this more generic look. .

There's just somthing about the center of the chip that seems a little busy - with the intersection of the star and the overlaying numerals of the denom. Might be only me that thinks so.

Yeah I was thinking that too. the denom doesn't flow with the background very well. I was to lazy/tired to address it. (and I still am) I'll hafta get at it tomorrow.

I agree also! The denoms need to be moved to the front. Also, the front of the design has a TOTALLY different feel than the back. They don't really go together. The front is too cartoony, and the back is more crisp. I'd get rid of or redesign the front completely. Both sides need to compliment each other, and I'm not getting that feeling. Also, change the font. Again, too cartoony.

I really like the denominations spelled out on one side of the chip and the numbers on the other side. I don't think the triangles look bad on the 1 and 5 but they don't look good on the 25 and 100. I am not sure about the .25. Have you tried the suggestion of 0.25 instead? That might take care of the problem.

These chips are looking better all of the time.
