To me, I see more blue $1 chips than I do blue $5000 chips.
just my opinion of course! |
I've got the solution. A white $1, a Blue $1000, and an Orange $5,000 Pink fractional and Grey and yellow NCV
Everyone loves the Blue 1000, it matches the Matador series plaques
Anyways, just thought I'd chime in and try to get matching colors for my existing set. |

I love the dots you replaced the scrolls with much better. It retains the class but makes it clearer and less cluttered. The drop shadow rocks! Really punches the shield out. I know you don't care for gradients so I won't suggest that the drop shadow be more translucent with a little blur and not so "solid" (oops ... I think I just did .. my bad ) You hit the font spot-on! When printing time comes, however, you might want to thicken it up a bit.Just have to wait and see how it prints. The separation with the Diamonds is fantastic and I love that the whole outer text is aligned as well.
You might tighten up the denomination fonts a bit on the 500, 1000 and NCV ... gets kinda close to the edge of the shield ... but now I'm just nit picking ...
Very very nice indeed!
What do YOU think of the changes?

Chips: 67 | | | Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One I like the Southpark design, Gary's vintage design (without the triangles, although I don't mind the half-moons, I would also prefer a generic name vs. Chiptalk Cardroom, but that's just me), and Feen's latest Siesta iteration.
I'd buy any of these. I'm in for at least 1000. |

Your design is the best example of why it is too early to just go with two right away. The only reason I mentioned colors was that others had started to do so and I am hoping to 'guide' the discussion >grin<. I hope that if we can push-back the final round just a little bit we can get the new colors included. If not, then I think the color / denom spread used by extraholes works great (as long as the $1 was white and the ND went Blue...) We can't even really pick too many denoms until we know how many chips are available. I think that the denom / color / generic text should be reserved until as late as possible, though I will not discourage any discussion before then. The more we discuss now, the easier the choices should be later (I hope). I think this one was my 4c Shane

I happy with and feel 95% settled on the overall design and style ... but as far as what denominations go on what colors and what the text actually says is VERY much up for grabs.
2c change for Shane ... lol
