Joe - once the order is placed, what do you expect the timing to be from production to delivery? |

I have no personal interest in the rules around the winning design, since I'm not submitting a design. However, in the interests of being (hopefully) helpful, I can see that the sponsor (Joe) and the winner should probably agree on the following: 1. Is Joe allowed to use the design outside of the arrangements associated with this group buy (i.e. for follow-on commercial sales, via any outlet)? Note - I think that the answer to this should be 'yes' because Joe wears the risk that he doesn't achieve 50,000 chips total in this group buy. 2. Is the winner allowed to use the design for his/her own personal orders? 3. May other Chiptalkers, not originally in on the GB, buy chips with this design in the future (obviously 'yes' if the answer to number 1 is 'yes', however, this will require further consideration if the answer to No. 1 is 'no'). 4. Who will own the copyright in the design? (it is probably fair that it is the designer that owns the copyright and that Joe is authorized to use it). Joe hasn't indicated how the seletction process will work. Maybe Joe will select the winner? (I think that this comment will get everyone's attention, LOL) . |

The winning designer would be compensated with a set of chips AND as we do with other artists- a per centage of gross sales goes BACK to the designer. Were one of the few companies that do this. We send out checks every few months to designers who have designed chips we sell now.
The CT members will be the decision maker for winning artwork here- youre the guys buying these chips- youre doing the work- its only fair YOU all choose the winner.

Does all that integrity qualify you for a handicap sticker or something! I can't imagine there being any better or more fair a deal than this!

I don't think they should match the chips but also think they stick out too much due to the brightness relative to the chip's colors. |

Careful or someone might accuse you of plagiarizing the WSOP chips ... 'cause they use 4 suits too!
Obviously I am in the "Generic" camp but I like these. The drop shadow is a bit heavy and the denominations seem a little ... well ... dare I say ... (generic)
Otherwise, a nice entry for the Casino Camp!
