Nobody doesn't like ? | I actually like that a lot. Along with the Sombrero chip. I like the cartoon look. However the one thing I don't like about your design is that I don't know what the hell it says on the chip. To further complicate the issue even if I knew what it said I wouldn't want to have to explain the chip to the people I am playing with everytime I break them out.
The artwork is fantastic though.

The use of the "Iron Flower" here is therefore only a similarity.
While I don't want to invite NEW issues, I don't feel required to validate this accusation by modifying the ORIGINAL design because of their complaint. The current element successfully provides the Vintage look and feel I was attempting to achieve without violating any creative or ethical boundaries. I would consider changing it if the DESIGN required it. I don't believe that it does.
It sounds as though, perhaps you are not particularly fond of the vintage feel (not a problem, can't love everything ). I WILL see if I can find an element that may provide some acceptable 'middle ground', however, I don't want to compromise my original 'vision' for the chip. | Garyon,
Your design is sweet...I wouldn't change anything with regards to the iron flower unless it was absolutely necessary.
As for the accusation...ridiculous imo...I know all of those chips and never once did it cross my mind that this inlay was even similar to anything I had seen before. No worries!
Keep up the great work! |

since theyre using NEW printing equipment AND they made the friggin chips AND this is the reason for this contest to begin with--one would THINK that they COULD match the chip colors--
Once we have final artwork and I can get samples done we will know for sure--
I THINK its definately doable-

Oh well ... we will see how the samples turn out and adjust from there. I'll keep my fingers crossed in the meantime.
Thanks as always Joe,
