Changes made ... - Moved the existing Orange and White chips into the standard denominations. Orange = 1000 and White = 5000. Got one request the make the White = 1 which would make the Blue = 5000. What do people think about that?
- Changed "Private Cardroom" to "Chiptalk Cardroom" ... there has been a lot of conversation about the use of PRIVATE CARDROOM. SO I thought that this was cute ... plus I just want to re-iterate that this is just a placeholder for now and we can replace it with anything we want when the time comes.
- Replaced "NCV" with "CHIPTALK CARDROOM"
- Got a couple of requests to reduce or remove the half-moon thingys. SO I removed them.

MY Opinions ... - I like the look of the 'Cardroom' name on the non-denomination chip rather than the NCV, although I could go either way with it.
- I liked the design better WITH the half-moon things. While perhaps the larger denominations can aesthetically support the space the 1, 5, 25, 100, 500 seem a bit diminished. Also the half-moons also helped draw the eye to the denominations.
What does everyone else think?
EDIT: I have also ordered a sample set of chips from Joe so that I can get a more accurate read on the colors. Looking forward to getting them!!

Chips: 237 | | | Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One Gary, I do like using the chip name on the non-denom vs. "NCV". I actually think the denom stands out better without the half-moon. I think having this as part of the design somewhat distracts you from looking only or directly at the denom on the chip. |

I need help to narrow it down. | I prefer the right column here where the character's color pops more. I am curious if the printed labels would show this pop as well as your rendering. The biggest negative in my mind is the small denom size. |

1. I would think about moving the "White Wolf" and the white silhouette "Logo" at the top to the other side. It looks crowded up there. Each side would be different (which I like) but it would un-clutter this side and keep the focus on the fantastic image you have going on. Plus the Logo by itself on the other side I think could look really nice.
2. The denominations need help ... new font, new color ... they don't stand out and yet, conversely are too big at the same time. Both the top and bottom seem crowded.
3. I LOVE the font used in the casino name ... looks very much like Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun (I think it's Mohegan Sun I'm thinking of). Gives it that "Indian Casino" feel.
Well ... I spent my 2cents. Looks very good! | Thanks for your comment. I changed the font and color of the denominations and also added a back design.
Personally I really like this design now. |

Chips: 7 | | | Re: Custom Clay Compression Artwork- Round One @Garyon: - I like them better with the half-moons as well, maybe slightly thinner ones, but I'm not sure about that.
- I would also like to suggest to switch the colors so that the 1000 is white and the 5000 is orange, so that the brightness progression doesn't get too linear and because I think the signal color orange is more appropriate for the more important jump 1k-5k than for 500-1k.
- How would the non-denom look with only a spade in place of the text (UTF8 character: U+2660)?
- For the name I would like to chip in these suggestions:
Private Poker Loft
High Stakes Poker Loft

Right now my faves are from garyon and Max (maybe because--back in the day--I was Super Max Cooper on the radio). Love the private loft idea since my card room is actually in my loft. Best of luck to all the entrants. Keep'em comin'. |

1. I could go either way on the half moon.
2. I vote for keeping the 5000 white and the 1000 orange!

One thing I did notice is that the colour-matching of the outer part of the label to one of the edge-spot colours could cause some confusion. Maybe it's just me but I could easily see the red chip as green at first glance because of it. What would they look like with the label edge colour matched to the base chip colour?
Again, great work.
