A big fat vote for NO TRAYS here. I have enough already!
Egad we're a picky group. Joe is going out of his way to get us a screaming deal on something we can get (1000 chip carriers) and getting us what we can't seem to find (600 and 800). Would it kill us all to pick up the trays separately (assuming we even need them)??? Quote:

I vote for no trays at all if the only option is to have them shipped inside the carriers, unless of course enough filler material is used to keep the carrier from getting scratched on the inside. | |

Chips: 527 | | | Re: Acryic Carrier Group Buy I'm in need of trays for my 2 cases, but if there is a reasonable chance it will scratch the cases, I would agree that perhaps we can get them elsewhere. Are there different size trays and if so, which ones would I need to fix this case? Can anyone provide a link?
So my vote is yes if there won't be any scratches, no if there is a reasonable chance there will be...
I'm assuming someone is hand packing the trays into the cases. Would it take that much more to put them in a plastic bag or wrap them in something? Just askin'... |

Chips: 8 | | | Re: Acryic Carrier Group Buy I can see both standpoints on this. I already paid for the trays so my vote would be YES. But, if we can't get trays then that money can be applied towards shipping. Either way, I just want the case. |

Either way, I just want the case. | LOL its a tough call- speaking with the factory now- its 4am here- and they laughed and said of course they know how to package the trays so they wont damage the carriers- even sent me pics- the trays will be wrapped in tissue paper and made not to rattle around--
their point is- theres no shipping on the trays since they can fit them inside the carriers-which makes sense- then they said they would just put trays in the carriers for those who want them- but from past experience I KNOW they will forget to mark the boxes WITH the trays so wede have to open every one-- still vascilating on this- but were leaning on just ordering the trays with the carriers-
Someome mentioned an 800 carrier- there is no 800 carrier only 400,600 and 1000pc ones
more to follow - its 4am and I need to start printing
Life sucks

Chips: 141 | | | Re: Acryic Carrier Group Buy Since it adds only $2 - $5 to the cost, depending on carrier size, w/ no extra shppg, I "humbly suggest" those that don't want or need the trays just take them with the carriers anyway, for the benefit of the rest of us, & throw them out , sell 'em on ebay , use them elsewhere or give them away when you get delivery.. |
