News: The Auction Is Underway!

Ok- the CT auction for the WPT table is a go--- theyre asking bidders to register as a WPT/APL member- and that is free.

This table will be SIGNED by some of the big boys and girls-- and most of the proceeds will go to Chiptalk AND the WPT/APL charity.

More to follow as I find time to figure out how the hell to run an auction-- Greg where are you?? Help!

So that's obviously not the real table right? Those logos are just photochopped on there...

thats the table with the printers mockup placed on the table- this is actually how the felt will look-I just wont have the fabric here till wednesday.

The Blue Diamond Logo, WPT boot camp and WPT logo will be on the table in addition to Palmimports- world leaders for custom poker chips
In addition the pros at this event will hand autograph the table.
The winner of the event will also be asked to sign it.

Joe, so the auction is just for ChipTalk.net members, or are we in a larger group bidding for the table?

THERE ya are! This is a CHIPTALK MEMBER only event--- we are asking support for the WPT in members joining the WPT- Amateur Poker League - but its not mandatory--which we are the manufacture for and sponser- but we got this deal eclusively to our selves

I was a fraid to post this anywhere else for fear mods would be yelling but were not profiting on this- CT and the WPT are- so some good advertising on the site maybe??

were scrambling to figure out how were going to do this but heres some ideas were thinking about

1- bidders will pregegister with us and be assigned a number- this way you can bid and not have your identity known.
2- we will ask if you registered with the WPT/APL- this is NOT mandatory but at least we can give some feedback back to them after the auction
3- the auction will run for a long enough period of time in order to give opportunity to those that may only come on here infrequently.
4-highest bidder will win this table but a low reserve will be set in order to guarantee some funds get distributed to the the sites ( CT and WPT/APL)
5- the table will be heavy to ship- so we are asking that we be able to ship to a terminal and the winning bidder pick this up at the local terminal.
The table is heavy and 9ft long x 45 inchs wide and has chrome pedastyle legs.
