I'm still gathering info but so far it looks to me like there are some cool facts surrounding both the table and the auction that Joe hasn't told you about. I think Joe is underplaying it (he sounded very busy). - Singing up for WPT-APL: Even though it's not required to place bids, signing up was easy and free, I've already done it myself. I highly suggest it. The WPT-APL already has countless events in my area that I want to start attending. You can search for events based on regions by clicking on your state.
- How to manage the auction: We'll just use the Classifieds. Since Palm will be allocating a portion of the proceeds to ChipTalk this makes it a sponsored event and I am happy to help manage it and to use our resources for the auction.
- Your table will be used as the FINAL TABLE, a televised event at the WPTAPL National Championship, this coming weekend. So the table, should you win it, will have some poker history behind it, and you can tape the show for posterity.
 - Famous People: While I already have some names of Pros that are scheduled to attend the event, and sign your table, I don't want to mention the names until I can confirm. Trust me, you know these pros, they are instructors for the WPTAPL Boot Camps.
- Shipping: This will be covered by the proceeds, so no extra cost for you! The requirement is that you be able to pick up the table at the nearest shipping terminal. Apparently there are dozens in almost every state in the US, so this should pose no problem for anyone. Try this tool: Plug in 32117 as the origin and your zip code as a destination. it'll show you where the nearest terminal is.
- Reserve price: Even though this table is valued in the thousands, the reserve will be very, very low. I cannot tell you the reserve yet, but I will suggest to have it so low that you will not be deterred from entering a bid. I will also highly suggest we publish what the reserve price is.
- The table you see in the photo above IS the actual table. The felt was laid on using Photoshop to show the officials at the WPT. More photos will be provided once the felt is installed by this weekend.

His response was, "Are you kidding me, heck yeah I'll be there?"
So don't forget your camera. And ask the WPT photographer to email you some too. |

I registered for the WPT/APL - no events scheduled in IL | We contract with a casino table printer- who manufactures for us in addition to others. Weve posted that we sell table felts for ahwile- but ya probably have to wade through alot of posts to find it.
We are pondering setting up another warehouse to make these in--house- but I really dont know if I can handle any more stress at this time in my life-
so we may not do it- but its in the back of my mind. The fabric is slick- cards slide really nice--- as soon as we get the entire table assembled I'll take some more pics--
My wife called- she told me- lets go out to the trailer for the weekend- I reminded her of the WPT event- our VIP passes- and she said- woudnt ya rather take the boat out and do some bass fishing?
TOugh choice here-- attend a WPT event that WE made the chips for- that WE made the tables for---get to mingle with the masses- hawk our wares--
or go bass fishing...
someone help me decide will ya this is a REAL tough call LOL
