Re: PGI 8V Custom preorder thread

Those look sweet. I love the girl riding the bomb ala Slim Pickens. Very reminscent of some of the WWII Bomber art, very nice

You should enjoy those King.

Thx.

I can only answer #4. Yes they are printed labels not inlaid.

Joe is the only one that can answer the first 3 questions.

Re: PGI 8V Custom preorder thread

No clue if they are still available, but i do know joe mentioned he was going to do a second run.

Wait time from artwork to my house was about 2 weeks, maybe 3.. (SUPER FAST)

Price, i have no clue. I think he said it was going to have to be a bit more. But alas, nothing official .

Re: PGI 8V Custom preorder thread

Here are my chips. The 25¢, $1, and $5 are the "cash game set", and the $25, $100, and $500 chips are the "tournament set". The High Hand and Bounty chips are for tournament play as well. I also included a photo of one of my new poker tables, complete with LCD screen that shows the clock, current blinds, round, etc.

Totally enjoying the heck out of these chips. I will say, they do have a slight "plastic-y" feel to them, but the quality of the printing is top notch. Plus, the price just could not be beat! I did not find one misprinted chip. Someone said it before, and I'll say it too, these suckers stack like bricks. They are much thicker than my old chip sets, and only 18 of them fit snugly in one row of my old racks. Can't wait to get my hands on some updated racks!

Our first tournament game of the season is this Friday. No one knows I got these chips, and I can't wait to show them off to the league!

If someone wants a closer picture of any of the chips, just let me know.

Nice, PattyChuck. The set looks nice. The purple chip caught my eye in the pics.

Re: PGI 8V Custom preorder thread

How do they stack up against a regular PGI clay edge-spot, as I have ordered the black ones to go with other PGI clays. Much taller, same ...
Cheers

Re: PGI 8V Custom preorder thread

Picked mine up yesterday, but then wifey had me rush out the door before I could do anything with them They'll be in play tonight for the first time, and I'll capture some pics then. Will post on the weekend. From what I've seen so far, I really like them.
