I don't even call it Pokerstars, it's Riverstars to me. Never seen so many people catch what they need on the river in my life. Whenever I am ahead all in, I always say, "He'll catch it on the river" and it happens a lot of the time.
And I HATE two pair, and really can't stand it if one of the pairs is on the board, as you can almost bet someone has trips.
I dont think the river beats are any worse at poker stars then any place else. Playing online in general it feels like you take more bad beats but i think thats only because your seeing more hands.
- first game I was playing like a damn idiot! bluff bluff bluff all the way to the river and i folded. went all in with 44 with what little i had left and busted out to an overpair. I need some discipline...will someone cane me...fetishgirl
- second game i placed 3rd. I ITM with middle stack. I called an all in for 1300 with a K7h. got beat by the A10o. Then I went in with A10o and got beat by a Q7 that flopped a set of queens.
I tried one of those multi table ones with 45 players last night. when we got to the final table i went on a mad rush and knocked almost everyone out in about 5 mins........i was getting AA....AKs....1010.....99.....QQ it was crazy.....people were going all in against me and i would call and catch a set on the flop or 2 pair......it really was unbelievable the cards i was getting. At the end i had like 60k and my opponent had around 8 and i knocked him out about a dozen hands later. It was alot of fun but it always is when your winning
