Chips: 88 | | | Congrats. Don't be surprise if you do well in the next few tourneys. They seem to run in streaks. When I finish well in my first one, I had quit a few wins and places all at once. |

Chips: 186 | | | Grats!
Just finished second in one myself for 457.00. We were pushing the chips back and forth heads up..went all in with AQs, he cracked it with 10,6s and he had me covered.
Third tourney only, so pretty happy with that. |

Chips: 139 | | | Try and go to the $10 tables, people don't play as erratic especially at Pokerstars. I was doing really well until I started hitting the $50 tourneys and got cocky. Went all in with AK suited on the first hand with a guy pre flop. He had pocket 10's. Flop was 8-8-10, flopped a boat, how lovely, $50.00 in twenty seconds, that's aggressive poker..........
Also the 2 table tourneys just don't seem worthwhile with their payouts, youve got many more people to get through with only a marginal add to the prize pool. If you play a single table $10 table you'll have ffewer people to compete against and make more money.

Chips: 186 | | | Not a large buy in, just a 30 dollar MTT on Empire, but had unlimited rebuys for those interested. So the prize pool goes up. Not sure what the total field was once underway, but not too big at all.
It paid out to 5th place with roughly, in USD, 732, 457, 265, 200, 164 I believe.
I didnt rebuy, so I picked up 427 USD. I'm Canadian, so its over 500 bucks for me. |

I'll try STT-SNG's when I need a quick-fix. If I ever get my bankroll built-up enough, I'll try higher buy-ins too. I don't want to keep pumping cash into my account so my initial investment is going to have to last a while. So far I'm in the plus column, so we'll see.
Besides, I like to save my "larger buy-in money" for live tournies at the local card rooms. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
