Chips: 5,814 | | | Ultimate Comeback Was playing a $5 ST-SNG and $5 MT-SNG at UB earlier. Apparently, UB was experiencing some problems on their end (still waiting for a reply on that) when I got booted from the ST-SNG when I was in 3rd place in chips (about 2800) out of 6 remaining players. In the MT-SNG, I was around 12 out of 15 with around 1k in chips. I wasn't able to reconnect until about 20 minutes later because UB kept telling my to try logging in later.
Once I finally logged in, I was in the SB on ST-SNG with 40 chips remaining after the SB (150/300) on AJs and 3 other players. I went All-In (duh) with 2 callers and won. Suffice to say, I came back to take 1st with some good hands early on and some good aggression.
On the MT-SNG, I came back with around 250 chips (50/100 blinds) and got knocked out shortly there after (was a bit on TILT and made some bad calls.) |

What's your UB name? I play under The Alkemist @ UB... I'll keep my eye for you & your luckbox
Me & my micro-online budget are a bit perturbed at UB taking away the $1.10's... or keeping it at an 1+ hour wait (usually ~80 plyrs as of late)
The only semi-multitablin' I did was playin' the $1.10's... good way to relax... guess it was time to step up anyway... been playin' a few 5's just don't have the BR yet.

Fins,
I play under top_kyle @ UB. For ring games, I'm usually at the .25/.50 Omaha/8 (limit or pot). For SNG, I usually just play hold'em; mostly at the $5 (STT or MTT) since the $1 are such a long wait. |

Is this true? UB is on my bonus-***** list, so I'm just wondering if it's going to be worth the trouble. |

Chips: 5,814 | | | I can't really comment on that as I play on the low limit tables mostly so its really hard to tell the quality of the players. The higher limit tables are probably a better guage. In the Pot Limit Omaha/8 tables there are a number of good players out there as I see a lot of regulars that are always at 2x - 3x the max buyins.
Compared to PokerStars, they run a lot more reload bonuses most of them at 50%.
Good luck. |

From my experience, 1-2 and 2-4 NLHE on UB has the highest percentage of players that will pay-off with a good second best hand (i.e. lower flush to the nut flush, idiot straight to the nut straight, 2-pair to a set, etc). Patience is critical in these games, and you can't play too tight, but when you hit a solid hand there seems to be more players that will pay off on UB. I would guess that this is the result of many players in these games that have just moved up a notch or two, but are still behind on the learning curve. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
