BZ,
Your rant and rave gave me a good laugh. Ridlin or Zoloft?

Anyway, A lot of us play online poker as a source of side income. So your comments and criticism is sort of like if we were to criticize and demean your employer. If you are good employee, you will probably defend them. If we told you they never played any of their employees, you might show us your last 26 pay stubs. If we told you they discriminated against women, you might show us a demographic breakdown of their workforce.

I addressed your concern w/ 400 hours of empirical data to back up my belief that these sites (at least the ones I have played, Primas, Cryptos, Action Network, Party Network, Stars, Absolute, Bodog, 24H, I think thats it) are on the up and up. Is 400 hours enough to draw a conclusion that the game is NOT rigged, No, its not.. But at this point I have absolutely NO evidence to support your claims that the games are rigged.

Just scanning over this and want to hit a few points.

I have played enough live action now that I probably have more hands live than online. I have seen tons of bad beats live to the point that I can almost duplicate any story someone comes and tells me happened to them online.

Just this weekend in New Orleans I sat at a cash game and won $1100 at $5 $5 no limit. That same weekend I lost $200 at the cash table after sitting there and literally seeing 10 5 off 4 hands in a row, and I am not kidding.

I have had my Quads killed by Royale Flush. I have had my flopped boat killed by flopped quads.

In the WSOP games this weekend I had top set beat 2 hands in a row with a rivered flush.

I could go on and on. This is all live play, not online.

The problem is, you see so many more hands online that the oddities come around more often (I know you've heard that a thousand times, but it's true)

I am not telling anyone to play online if you don't want to, I don't like it either. I don't play online because it bores me to sleep (Literally fallen asleep at the computer more than once), but the rigged arguement holds no water with those of us who play a lot of live hands.

Man this thread has taken a life of its own, away from your original question, but to answer your ?, I really don't think it matters which site you pick. Pick the one that you like the best or try them both.

haha yea I was thinking the same thing. At least people are responding to one of my posts no matter how off target they got. I enjoy reading the rants anyway thanks guys! If any of you are on pokerstars I will see you on there! WATCH OUT! I AM A MONSTER! I think my name will be mr_jdsoares

Is it too late to change my mind?

I just lost 15BB within 9 hands at the same table. Twice I got , twice I lost.

Once to , once to .

It's got to be rigged I tell ya!!!

Not that uncommone. The last tournament, I got busted out with pocket K's. I raised 3X preflop and a player with A2s put me allin. The A came on the river to knock me out.

at .25/.5 i win 2bb/hour over my last 10k hands. last night, though, i played an hour and lost $2. i'm worried that they rigged it b/c i was winning too much.

seriously, though, it's not rigged. and no, i can't prove it.

to the OP, i like Poker stars and party. i full tilt is nice too, but the bonus is impossible to earn. if you're gonna bonus *****, Party is the best. it's just that i prefer PS's interface...

I offer you the best of luck, and hope to see ya'll on TV soon. My Tivo records them all, so I'll keep my eyes out for ya.

Thanks chiptalk.net netizens for your open minds and understanding. I can't say that I ever met so much adversity to a suggestion or a belief on a BBS in many years. Congrats.

I've learned another lesson in the last 48 hours, and that is not to post anything here that might be even close to controversial, or against the poker gods that apparently reside here.

Better yet, don't post anything here at all, because nobody actually reads the whole post anyway. They get to the part they don't agree with, and then type in their response slowly with a sore wrist from patting themselves on the back for being so correct.

It was fun to visit, until I actually spoke my mind, and then "those that know it all without asking any questions" spoke up to put my in my place.

I forgot that with the "away from the table" poker gurus, they always know more than you do, and will rate you by what YOU should have done, not that they have seen the whole story, instead of what they would actually do with their heart pounding in their chest, and the cigar smoke wafting into in their eyes.

I'd like to say I'll see you later but I probably won't.

Excuse me for forming an opinion that didn't agree with the establishment.

My best to all, don't spend your WPT millions too fast, remember to invest!
