Zynga Poker Accused Of Rigging Games

While the source of the information is rather ambiguous, this may be worth investigating as it may provide insight and fuel the rigtards on how an RNG can be manipulated for action hands and pre-determined outcomes. Also, could the practice of gathering of information specific to player habits as alleged by the former employee could also be done by regulated online casinos/card rooms? While Zynga is a "play money" poker entitiy now, they do charge real money to purchase "play chips"

Any validity to this would certainly hurt their efforts to one day become a real money poker site.

Re: Zynga Poker Accused Of Rigging Games

I have a friend who is/was a software architect at Zynga. This doesn't surprise me in the least based on his/her stories.

Re: Zynga Poker Accused Of Rigging Games

prob more than any other single entity, zynga stands to gain immensely from any legalized real money interstate online poker. would be a ridiculous shame if they are squandering that opportunity with shenanigans (didn't read article, don't know sh*t about what they did/didn't do). the number of people in their player base is staggering. if they could turn even 5% of those people into real money players after legalization, they would have far and away the biggest player pool of any online site.

Sadly, this rumor doesn't surprise me at all. The longer I live, the more disappointed I am at the scum that use their intellectual gifts to prey on others.

Re: Zynga Poker Accused Of Rigging Games

I'd love to hear some of his/her stories. As a former employee who could potentially collaberate the posting on reddit.

What's sad is people are [insert Jim Rome Voice] allegedly ripping off people who use real money to buy play money chips.

Also I can't believe that Zynga has raised 1 Billion dollars. Insane.

Re: Zynga Poker Accused Of Rigging Games

I didnt go on FB for a year, and recently went back to get rid of all the 'game friends' so I could use FB (normally) again (8 hours of tedious unfriending).
I got sucked into some games and met players/hacks that sold game stuff for $$ and it was pretty obv they didnt earn any of the stuff in the game itself and probly worked@Zing-ya and were skimming on the side.

Aside from that, them being idiots in game design, and allways changing the rules as you play, I will never play in a FB game ever again.

I don't want to identify this friend, thus the ambiguity of the gender and employment status. Sharing the stories from me would just be hear say anyway. I'm sure I'd get the important details wrong.

I did hear stories of Mafia Wars whales that spend 5 figures per month on the game. Over $10k/month! on Mafia Wars!?

ETA: I am sure my friend is aware of the reddit post, and has not posted for his/her own reasons.
