Cake Poker?

Can you use cake poker in the US? If not are there any online poker sites you can use where you play for real cash

Re: Cake Poker?

I've been on Cake for a few months now, I haven't tried to cash out though.

I play mostly SNG's. It's so-so -- As long as you don't mind $5 SNG's, it's fine. I prefer $10, but those essentially NEVER get enough people to start. If I want to do a $10, I have to play a double up. Those start pretty quickly. I do find it odd that everyone wants to do the double up and nobody will do a regular one.

Re: Cake Poker?

Word on 2+2 seems to be that Cake is very unreliable for US cashouts. Personally I've only downloaded it to test out the software and was pretty much turned off just due to the clunkiness of it.

I'm on Cake, but haven't tried to cash out. I've read the same though on 2+2 -- Takes 3+ months to get a check sometimes.

I've heard the 'Merge' network is better, but haven't tried it.

Re: Cake Poker?

I gave in and funded into Unabomberpoker.com,which is one of skins that uses the Cake poker network. I have had no problems with the software being clunky, the only problem is that there are only about 2000 players online at any given moment and most of the cash tables up to .50/1 are usually full with waiting lists, SNG's are pretty tough to fill up and they offer coin flip SNG's...sick and horrifying. Also hand histories are a little vague and I am not sure if poker tracker is compatable yet. I signed up for rakeback for the first time which I guess is pretty cool, although there isn't any way for me to tell if I have received it yet

Is there anyone out there playing on Unabomber?

Re: Cake Poker?

Lock poker has some good reviews for US folks. I play on cake but also havent tried cashing out. Money xfers have not been an issue with other US players if that helps.
