your raise is fine in relation to his bet...but not in relation to the pot size.

there's ~ 400 in the pot preflop.

he bets 60 (which is ridiculous) and you make it 4 x that the 250, which seems reasonable. unfortunately, calling 190 into a pot of 710 makes it sort of a no-brainer for him.

When it gets to you the pot is 460. a pot sized raise is 640. if you don't want to raise that much (b/c you want value), maybe you just bet 75% pot? somewhere between 350 and 450, i guess. you may get value from a dummy with k2, and make the draws unprofitable.

also, don't quit playing online. you're too good for that

His preflop raise was on the small side.

Shoulders to cry on.

I'm trying to finesse my raise bets. Was that any better?

i think limp reraising AK in donkfests is not a great play in the long run.

if you're going to do it you need to raise more. You're out of position. You gave the first raiser 2:1 odds which most people are not folding to. What are you going to do when the board comes J97? check-fold? you're going to miss the flop 2/3 of time. I'd prefer to play AK straight forward in these spots.

AK with deep stacks is not a hand you want to try to build big pots with early. I'd prefer to see a flop first and go from there.

Make a standard raise, don't limp-reraise.
Post flop is standard.
