Re: reason #2837479 why bad players will continue to lose

I'm just curious but how much more money would you have donated to him?

Flop comes, he bets a $1, I believe you might have called or possibly raised to see where you're at. Though I think a call is more likely.

Turn, he bets $1.50- $2 are you going to donate some more?

River, say by chance you continued to play this hand the way I have it being played out. He bets $2.50, you fold and he might not be able to show his hand.

so you play it slow so that you can show your hand?

what i happened to have there doesn't matter. he doesn't know me (tighta$$) ...but he knows he can win my stack if i also flopped a flush, or if i have a set, or maybe if i have two pair or a straight. but he guarantees he'll win next to nothing by refusing to bet it.

and whoopee, he got to show his hand to 5 strangers.

I don't recall saying that I would play it slow. What I did say is "how much more money would you have donated to him?"

I don't show my cards, period. So NO I wouldn't do that but he might.

So if he bets the flop for a $1.00 would you have called. I think you would have. So now he's gained an additional .25˘. Great.

Turn: 10

Now there's a possible straight and flush possibilities. He bets a $1.50 or so, would've called? Nope but then again he doesn't know that.

So he would have gained an additional .25˘. Wow.

I would have played the hand differently but in the end, he wasn't getting that much more from you.

HOW MUCH MORE MONEY WOULD YOU HAVE DONATED TO HIM IF HE BET OUT LIKE I SAID?

BTW, I'm not saying he played it fine. I'm just saying that YOU wouldn't have donated that much more than what you did. That's what I am saying. He played the hand at best like an average player at those limits.

Then again, I have NO IDEA how you were playing at that time. I don't know what your image was at that table. Were you the usual "tighta$$" as you typed above or if you were a LAG. That would probably influence me one way or another on how I would have played his hand. Maybe I'm reading way to deep into this.

What JOJO is saying above, is that it's not just a matter of this 1 hand. Sure, maybe he wouldn't have gotten more out of JOJO due to the hand he had, but again, what if jojo had a baby flush or a flopped AT straight.

It's a brutal play, regardless of jojo's hand.
