How to play against...

How to play against... a donk that ALWAYS donks for the min.

I am currently sitting to the left of an absolute donkey that is currently running 57/11/4.5 over 28 hands.

The below hand history is from my 6th or 7th hand at the table, and the first hand I played.... Since this hand he has donked for $.25 on EVERY FLOP.

How do you adjust to this player? What is your reasoning?

*not meant as a bad beat story, I love how the hand played, but obv not crazy about the turn*

Looks to me you got your money in with the best of it, can't help they sucked out on you. That's poker. Move on to the next hand and win it back.

Not complaining about the hand at all, I'm perfectly happy with how we both got our money in... was hoping I made that clear in the OP.

I just threw in that hand history to show the first example of what he continued to do for the next 100 hands or so that I was at the table with him.

I generally will do like JoJo said, and treat it like a check and most often throw out my usual c-bet, but when he is donking EVERY HAND, I was wondering if I should think deeper into it.

when he does it EVERY hand, you should think much less deeply about it. the more automatic it is, the less meaning it has. the less meaning it has, the more you should ignore it.

these guys donk every street b/c once in awhile they see someone fold. b/c once in awhile they see someone fold to it, they think it's a viable strategy. anything anyone does automatically should be considered noise.

I agree, if DONK is doing it all the time, ignore it
