Tens..lose..lose WIN! (brag)

This is a brag, no talent, just the luck of the cards.

I need to lead you up to the main part of the story and it involves Tens. It seems I've donked off a lot of $$$ with these two cards and it continued again tonight.

I just wanted to see some flops lately for the last week and have been playing micro limits NLHE. So the early part of tonight was the same. .5˘/.10˘ 6 handed. I was playing a couple of tables and on both tables I threw away my buy in ($10) when I either donked off my money with Tens or lost on the river (flush) with a set of Tens.

So I'm not too happy with myself for my poor play. I'm not tilting but I'm now ready to play or so I believe. I move up in stakes to $1/$2. I'm more or less going to play a little tight or that's what I intended to do.

My third hand and I'm in mid pos. with 6/6. Two limpers and I raise to $12. Fold, bb pushes AI with his remaining stack of $22. UTG limper takes about 10 seconds or more and folds (stated he had AK after the hand). The other limper folds and I call. Hit a 6 on the flop, four clubs hit the board, and the bb had AhTh and my hand holds. Not bad.

Including this last hand, I raise the next 5 out of 6 hands. Get reraised once (I fold) and called another time but take the hand on the turn. My image has to be that I'm a LAG and that works but isn't close to being my style of play.

On my 11th hand at this table, I'm in the SB with Tens. I'm not sure how to feel about them because of my poor play earlier but I'll play em.

Here's the hand:

I put him on a bigger pair when he pushed AI. Then when the A hit for the brief few seconds I said to myself "no aces, no aces, no aces"...and it worked.

This is my biggest pot I've won on St♠rs and it feels good. I've lost more in one sitting but that's just another story that doesn't need to be told.

If you read all this and I didn't bore you to death, thanks.

I should be sleeping but I just finished watching a movie. I'm still a little amped up.

As for the sig line it would be nice but then I would have to get rid of the flags.

Also, thanks J.

Re: Tens..lose..lose WIN! (brag)

Did I read correctly that this other idiot pushed all in with a 9-7 and only a draw to a straight? Those are the kinds of idiots who do that to me in tournaments and hit their card, but doing it in a cash game?

No he pushed AI with 98os.

He had an open ended straight draw.

While I think of it, I've probably lost more $$$ on line with Tens, than with any other pair.

However, it was nice to flop a fullhouse and then someone donates over a $100 to me.

I know this may be the incorrect way to build a bankroll but I'm glad I got some hands early and was able to add some decent coin to my small online bankroll. Also, ty.
