Its completly shocking to me that you see this as just an inconvenience, and not just a horrible way to run your business. Of your 3 choices, #1 patience, I waited a month, ample time from what they advertise withdrawal times are. #2 take my business elsewhere, I probably will, after many emails to try and remedy this problem that have gone nowhere I might want a sight with better customer service. #3 get pissed, Thats what Im doing now, I am telling my story to other poker players so they can see the bullsshh im going thru with these people. Im bringing my story to a public forum of poker players who I would think would be intrested to hear this story. Much to my amazement a mod for the public forum reads my story and says "so"....fing amazing, def mod of the year... <~~~~just turned into a lighthearted post. |

I've always had concerns about withdrawing money from online sites. Our elected officials, in an effort to "protect" their constituents, have put us at risk in ways they may not have intended. Or maybe they did intend this. Do we really need to be protected from ourselves? I think not, but that's a subject for another thread.
The increasing number of posts about the difficulties of withdrawing funds from Full Tilt is starting to worry me.
Good luck in the WSOP event, Suicide King. Is this your first WSOP tournament? I hope that you cash big time! I'll be watching for your trip report.

I recently cashed out a good portion of my roll. I sent them the scans of the required documents and recieved a check 4 days after my docs were approved. I haven't used the echeck thing but that seems to be where the problems are coming from, not from requesting a paper check.

Did you read the OP? He tried withdrawing on April 29th. FT advertises 5-10 business days. IMO he was being careful to make sure he had it by June. Far from the 'locks up crucial money that they need NOW' BS. But I guess in all your holiness you would have tried withdrawing the funds April 29th 2007 because you're like a god and are omniscient. Hmm, but I guess you're not omniscient - otherwise you would never have tried opening up that failed poker coaching forum. Maybe you could try over at 2+2 and see how long that would last. I'm sure people would rather be coached by Jojo than Cardrunners or Stox. Oh snap, personal jab <- This makes it ok though |

Chips: 11,926 | | | Re: F U Full Tilt While it sucks that you don't have your money yet (I'm sure you'll get it) there are a few things I want to point out.
1. This time of year, there's probably 1000's of transactions just like yours going on. You're not the only one going to the WSOP, so I'm sure many people are in the same boat and FT is overwhelmed with requests. Sure, they probably need to be better prepared, but they're not. And that sucks.
2. You're dealing with a company that is not regulated by any government or organization (that has any real power). Sure, they've got a reputation to uphold, but there's a certain amount of faith required when you engage in a practice that's "not really legitimate". This argument would have a lot more weight if it were a bank you were trying to withdraw from. But it's not. And that sucks.
3. Everybody here is entitled to their own opinion. But most opinions suck.
4. You might not always get the support you're looking for, welcome to the internets. It sucks.
I hope you get your money soon and that everything gets resolved to your satisfaction.

A quick question: Is there any issue I am not aware of with getting a physical check other than the need to send photo copied proof of identity? I understand thet FTP advertises quick withdrawal electronically to a bank account and that isn't happening, I am just curious if I missed something about the physical check.
