Auto-rebuy feature - do you invoke it? (cash/ring games)

I'll admit that it drives me kind of nutty in ring games when folks use this feature since it's so hard to tell how well opponents are doing relative to their buy-in. On the other hand, it's nice to get new money at the table with regularity.

What's your take on the auto-rebuy option? Do you use it? Do you like it? Please discuss.

Updated thread title to reflect that this thread is relative to cash games.

Re: Auto-rebuy feature - do you invoke it?

I don't use it because I would end up never leaving my house.
If I get felted I usually won't rebuy unless it's in the first hour. If I had auto rebuy I would be chasing the dragon all day and night. I don't mind, however, if other people; especially donkarrific people, have it on.

Re: Auto-rebuy feature - do you invoke it?

I will often use it, always if I'm at some very agro tables. I also always have it set for a full rebuy if I'm felted.

I just set my gametime+ to display my stats for current tables so I can keep track of how I am doing at a specific table, and try to get a read on how other players are seeing me.

Re: Auto-rebuy feature - do you invoke it?

I like the feature as I usually want to be a full buy-in if I drop a bunch of chips.

I seldomly play rebuy tournies online. Pretty much hate them actually.

Re: Auto-rebuy feature - do you invoke it?

I wasn't aware of it being a tourney feature. I'm referring to the ring game auto rebuy option.

Re: Auto-rebuy feature - do you invoke it?

I don't use it because if I catch a bad beat I want the ability to sit out a hand or two to cool off. Having no money forces me to sit out at least one hand which I like

Re: Auto-rebuy feature - do you invoke it?

Actually I was going to say the auto-rebuy feature is probably more common in the tournies than cash games. I never use it for cash games but usually use it in tournies.

Also I use gametime+ HUD so it always tells me the winners and losers no matter what their buyins are.

Re: Auto-rebuy feature - do you invoke it?

I don't use it (I'll usually top up if I'm down to < 80 BB or so, but not automatically), but I like it. It's nice to see your opponents automatically top up every time you take a pot off them. Let's you know you can keep making money off them.
