in live games, we usually play 8-player max. if you run out of cards at any particular player's draw, you collect all the discards up to that time (not including the current player's discards) and burns and then you shuffle them and deal out from the newly shuffled stub

that's how we do it.

This is a crazy game. I played a bunch of cash at P* yesterday and lost big time. I think that I started giving to much credit to non-nut or close-to-nut lows with 8s and such. Kept drawing wheels, 3-7 and 2-6 straights too, which are useless. Fun game though.
