FTP - Withdraw issues?

I've received this during the last 3 withdrawals that were about 1-2 weeks apart each...and I'm talking getting this email 24 days AFTER the withdraw request. You too? I get withdraw direct to my checking which is up to 10 business days. I think that the "We are now satisfied that all delayed transfers..." part is BS. What are they, maximizing players money in a CD and preventing speedy withdraws now? Maybe its just a Spring thing...I hope. I got this email on May 14th.....received the others about the same time after the request was made.

================

We are writing to further clarify and apologize for the significant delay which has affected your recent bank transfer withdrawal:
Date: 20-Apr-08

These delays, while outside of our control, are also outside acceptable norms.
We have been working to expedite these delayed transactions using every means at our disposal, including constant communication with our third-party payment processing services.
We are now satisfied that all delayed transfers will be fully processed and all delayed funds deposited in your account within the next 7 days and by Friday May 23rd at the absolute latest.
Once again, we apologize sincerely for any inconvenience caused.

Re: FTP - Withdraw issues?

It may really be out of their control. I had a similar issue with an online casino when I cashed out. Their processor who was doing the transfer to my bank got banned from sending money to the US so they had to go find someone else who could and do everything over blah blah. Finally got to me after about a month or so, and since then has been pretty quick. So it could be a similar situation for them.

Re: FTP - Withdraw issues?

I just read that TheMightyJim2K had same issues on his blog. He said
checks were going through no problem.

Re: FTP - Withdraw issues?

Thanks for the comments. Prolly a temp setback. I only got pissed when I got this 3 times in a row. I was thinking FTP may be investing cash into short term CD's to maximize holdings (based on historical withdraw data on how much they can likely hold) but I guess I'm reading too much into it. I didn't used to have this problem, but after 3...

All good I guess. I would think an uprising would occur if this became a theme for 6 months so to probe this myself as a part timer...should probably be a clue. Thanks again.

Re: FTP - Withdraw issues?

Getting my winnings out of FTP has been a snap for me . . . I just transfer them to my wife. No Problem.

Re: FTP - Withdraw issues?

guinness,

My buddy Phil (the crazy guy to your left in the cash game at my house) and I have been waiting for our transfers (over a g!) for OVER a month now. We keep getting the same farging e-mails you're getting.

They sent one last week stating they fixed their problem. Now we just got a new one stating they've had further problems with bank transfers and might take another 7 business days. WTF?!?!

Lemme know if you get your out of there.

Yeah same situation. Both my anticipated withdrawals were 4 digits each. Wife was starting to think I was full of shat because I bought 900 new Mardi Gras and justified it with the FTP wins but now the wife thinks I've sunk money into both.

Update:
Withdraw request #1 occurs Apr 10th (5-10 Bus days)
Withdraw request #2 occurs Apr 20th (5-10 Bus days)
Difficulty Email on request #1 occurs Apr 25th
Deposit made from request #1 around May 9th.
Difficulty Email on request #2 occurs May 13th.

Just waiting for #2 still.
