Round #2 - Who's the donk?

Very very aggravated right now..Ignoring the flop was I wrong to shove? My general rule is if I hit aces well I run into aces but I always shove with KK preflop...so what's worse - my overbet or the brain dead calls?

Re: Round #2 - Who's the donk?

Im guessing this is a "look how unlucky I got" post, rather than a "how did I play this post?", since as far as I'm aware getting KK all-in pre-flop in a tourney is never a bad play.

EDIT: When you post a HH and want genuine advice on your play, dont show or hint anything about the showdown, you will get better advice that way.

No A7o ?

Hand needs more river drama.

Online players are starting to slack on the "play any ace" policy

Re: Round #2 - Who's the donk?

Tell the truth Mike, I'll bet you were salivating with a raise & re-raise and you still to act! (I know I would be with KK!!) Ugly way to loose a hand though.

Re: Round #2 - Who's the donk?

It could have been worse, as it could have been a $100 SNG instead of the $3 SNG.

You got in with the best hand but that's it. Reload and play again.

Re: Round #2 - Who's the donk?

Easy explanation here Mike, its a $3 SNG. A decent player would have tossed those 10s in a heartbeat after all that action in front of him.

Re: Round #2 - Who's the donk?

Well, at least once I've sucked out over the past two nights after getting offed by a real donk. Tourney ending hands two nights in a row...AK vs KQ flopped Kxx, I raise, he goes all in I call...turn Q. Out. Next night AQ vs QJ, flop Qxx, raise big, he re raises all in, I call. turn x, river J, Out again. I hate Queens in any form.

Tonight on a 10 cent SNG on Doyle's some guy was being hyper aggressive and I just kept folding. Got to heads up with a 13,000 to 4,000 chip lead. He whittled my blinds away because I just kept folding to his all in re raises.

Finally, 22 in the BB and he did not raise. He had AJ. Flop was XXX rags, check check. Turn J and he goes all in and I call with 4 to the flush thinking he was pulling his usual. River completes my flush with a 2 high in my hand and I won my little .45 first place.

First time I've sucked out in a very long time.
