maybe I'm an idiot, I thought in omaha you played the two cards in your hand that give you the best 5 card hand...if that is the case I had an ace, which turns into a fullhouse when the board is 9xAA9. So in this situation I would use A8 as my two best cards. Please someone tell me if I've gone stupid |

under your reasoning your using 6 cards. A8 from your hand and 9AA9 from the board

This gives you AAA98, which of course loses to a flush.
