Re: p* wsop steps: follow my path to 10 million

I am casually trying some of these to get a seat into the main event, and just won a Step 4 ticket. Got somewhat shortstacked in the level 3 SnG, and would just push, push, push when playing, got doubled up a few times, and managed to eek out a small victory. First time to level 4 for me. Been to level 3 a few times.

Re: p* wsop steps: follow my path to 10 million

i started playing these as well. I am also playing these for the LAPT entries. I figure i need to be in central america really soon to get out of the great missouri weather.

Anyway, I have 1 wsop step 4 to play and two step 3s. I did cheat however and direct bought into two step 2s. I was tired of losing to A-rag in the step 1s. As you move up the play is slightly better, im assuming because afew players actually buy in at those levels and have some sense of poker.. Or maybe im the donkey?

Re: p* wsop steps: follow my path to 10 million

Starting my level 4 SnG right now. Almost forgot that they are starting with regular, not turbo SnGs now. Wish me luck on the Step 4, and tourney 84593035 if anyone wants to railbird.

I've been watching for awhile but the observer chat is off unless you have a step 4 tix.

Just watched you take down the blinds on the CO - sitting at 1660 right now - way to hang in

Re: p* wsop steps: follow my path to 10 million

Out in 4th. Pushed from the SB hoping to steal with 79s, and the BB woke up with 88. Flopped open end after BB flopped a set, and went blank, blank. Now back to step 3

Just took my Step 3 ticket, played, and am back to step 4. Hopefully tomorrow I might try to make it to Step 5 again.

Re: p* wsop steps: follow my path to 10 million

Has anyone thought of this: Try to get a bunch of CT'ers to step 5 or 6 and then try to get in the same SNG? True, not everyone would get to move on, but chances are a Ct'er would. Just a thought.

I'm just about finished with these, as I can't get past level 2
(3rd, 4th, 4th, 5th, 5th, 8th). Are either of these hands that awful? Do
I just need to get better at flips?
