Re: p* wsop steps: follow my path to 10 million

After posting I decided to play one and am now on step two. As an aside there's a decent thread on the over at 2+2 WSOP Steps Bankroll Strategy - Two Plus Two Forums

Re: p* wsop steps: follow my path to 10 million

after reading partway through that thread, i started to like the idea of multi-tabling the step 1s (since it's become clear i'm not gonna run straight through in one go anyhow :*).

last night, i played 5 step ones.

results:
2 step 2 tickets
1 step 1 repeat.

Re: p* wsop steps: follow my path to 10 million

I like this approach to. Though I usually only keep like 100 bux on P*'s cause I play on FTP so I'm only going to play when trying to win that stupid micro leaderboard.

Re: p* wsop steps: follow my path to 10 million

I think I'm going to try that approach from the 2+2's as well... Maybe throw $200 bucks at Step 1 and see where I net out.

Ditto for me tonight. How many Step 2's are you going to accumulate until you start playing them?

Re: p* wsop steps: follow my path to 10 million

What happens to any unused tickets? Do we get T$'s once they stop running the steps? If so I might just try to accumulate a bunch of step 4's.

Re: p* wsop steps: follow my path to 10 million

Figured I give it a go.

Last hand of my first step 1. MRREF2U is so short, I want to call with the hope the other player will call behind and we can take him out, then we both move on. Scareuof bets the river after making the straight (which I did too). Am I wrong in thinking that was stupid. Why bet there? What does it accomplish?? We both get in if we take 3rd out. Man, it's gang up time on the SS, sorry.

On to step 2

Saw Flop | Saw Turn | Saw River | Saw Showdown | Won
PokerStars Game #16618618191: Tournament #84165698, $7.00+$0.50 Hold'em No Limit - Level X (400/800) - 2008/04/10 - 01:45:08 (ET)

FSU88 Button - t5140

FSU88 is Button with 9 5

FSU88: posts the ante 75
Scareuof: posts the ante 75

FSU88 calls t800
, Scareuof calls t400
.

Your assuming that people know how to play satellite's. They don't. The beauty is that somehow these guys make it through and play the same no matter how high they get. Makes it easier for everyone else.
