Chips: 1,071 | | | First to Bubble Boy in Two Hands - by JoseRijo Playing in a $6 45-man turbo on Stars last night. Eight players left, seven get paid. I'm in first place, but only one player is (relatively) short.
Villain is the same in both hands.

The min-bet on the turn was a mis-click. I accidentally hit the Bet button while
moving the slider. Not that it would've mattered.
Boring and standard, I know. But I'm too depressed to post about what's really
bothering me: my 11 1/2 buy-in downswing at 25NL. In 1350 hands. |

On the first hand, any reason for the small raise PF? 2.5 BB's when there was already 1 caller seems a little light to me. a 4BB raise there might have won it preflop. |

Actually, I was worried about the button or blinds (or even UTG) coming over the
top. And I thought if I raised any more, the UTG would feel pot-committed. |

Chips: 991 | | | Re: First to Bubble Boy in Two Hands - by JoseRijo I feel you Jose. I never play these but elected to play a $68 entry 45-man tourney on FTP. I was the chip leader the entire time. We get down to 10 and top 6 pay. Still chip leader, I proceeded to call peoples all ins with AT, 55, stuff like that and ended up bubbling out. I was so pissed, especially when the ftp "final table" graphic came up I felt like I could coast into placement. I got too call-happy. Man that pisses me off now like 2 weeks later thinking about it. Then again, my multitable experience is pretty noob at best. At least you've won a 45 man tourney before. |

Chips: 18,645 | | | Re: First to Bubble Boy in Two Hands - by JoseRijo Hand #1 -- regardless of how your mis-click got you there (you're a genius at randomizing your play for maximum deception!!), I think you gotta punish him on that flop. You're way ahead against a random BB. Re-raise his butt and take it down there.
On the turn, I probably check behind. I could make a case to push here, but we're on the bubble and we're beat too many ways. Check and hope for some miracle on the river.
River -- ack, no miracle. Bad card for you. I definitely fold here. But you shoulda and coulda had the pot on one of the earlier streets. Or you'd still have 5,480 chips. |

Go down a level and smash $10 NL for a while - at the very least it'll give you your confidence back.
