I am never..EVER..allowed to complain about poker again.

Warning, this is a super long post, with a lot of P* Hand Histories.

I have 75 chips because I just lost a coin flip a few hands before for nearly all of my chips.

Ok, so, I'm at 650. That's still hardly anything, especially in a turbo.

Wow. A nice river again. Well, 1400 is a step in the right direction, but still short stacked in a turbo tournament like this. I have a lot of work to do still, I'll never come back.

Stole some blinds for 2 small pots, up to 1775..

When I saw the 2 I was flipping out. I didn't even realize I had made a flush. Whoops. 13565 in chips.

9-handed, picked up KK, only got the blinds. Two people go out, so we're ITM with 7 people left. Not bad from 75 chips, and I still have some to work with. Expecting to lose soon, will be happy to get the money back. Then one more goes out, down to 6.

Ok, so..is it just me, or did I just hit a 1-outer on the turn? I thought maybe I was the only one to see it. All of a sudden, down to 4 people.

1 more goes out, 3-handed.

I hit a straight, me and one other guy are at like 28k, other is about half of that. I ask if anyone wants to chop, the other CL declines.

Heads up, I offer to look at a chop again, he says ok, I go to e-mail support and he changes his mind because he doesn't want to wait. I have about 1.5 to 1 chip lead, but I've been actually fairly passive and I think he sees that. I step it up in HU though, build a 2 to 1 CL, and..

Ok, so, I lose. But, it was the craziest tournament I have ever played in my life, and the biggest comeback I have ever made for so much money.

Thanks for sharing the adventure with me.

Re: I am never..EVER..allowed to complain about poker again.

I was so disappointed to see the final two hands...I was thinking all along that you were going to win this thing!

But from 75 chips to a $500 payout is not bad at all.

Re: I am never..EVER..allowed to complain about poker again.

It's funny, the last 2 charity tourneys I dealt at the winners were the shortstacks at the beginning of the final table. In fact one of them was on his last half blind when he started hitting his rush.

Good job,

Sharky

Congrats Brett. It's especially good to see since you seemed a little down after the MMN tourney, which, if you noticed, I donated to again.

Yes, way to go Brett, you needed this after the Razz game. Way to take it (almost) down.

Re: I am never..EVER..allowed to complain about poker again.

Thanks all.

Unfortunately, it looks like my luck was celebrated too soon. My car blew a head gasket this morning. The repairs will be about double what I won in that tournament.

Bad beat.

The head gasket was gonna go anyway. Don't sweat it. Keep up your poker prowess and you'll be able to buy a new car.

Sorry to hear about your car Brett. Like Aquman said - keep hitting the tournies and SnG's and you'll pay for the repair and more.

This is exactly what I love about CT - a memeber has a bad day, issue, etc and people try to help cheer them up. Not like other online communities for sure

VIVA CT!!!!!!!!

That tourney was one pretty sick heater for you. Nice job!

That blown car engine is one cold deck. Here's to another sick heater coming your way.
