Well I just qualified for FTOPs Event #10 ($1000 Buy-in) which starts in less than an hour. I qualified for the $200 qualifier in a $25 satellite so Im feeling pretty blessed to be in this large of a buy-in for $25! Im a little nervous/really excited about potentially playing against Allen Cunningham, Jennifer Harman, Phil Ivey, Scott Fischman and more!

Ha. We'll see about that. I hope im not too rusty. Before those two satellites, I hadn't played in several months. Although I think that has made me more focused and patient. 6 more pros have joined since I posted last and it looks like the field might be over 1500+
Very well done, congratulations! Best of luck in the tournament, be sure to knock out some of the pros! FTP used to mail out T-shirts if you knocked a red sponsered pro out of a tournament, hopefully they still do that.
Not a whole lot of change in my chip count. I've got 4600 after starting with 5000. Im playing a little too loose but w/ 6 handed, its a little more forgivable. No pros at my table yet, and it hasn't changed.

Just lost a big ole pot then got most of it back! AK fell into my lap and felt good because of the last 15 hands, my best two were A4 and K9. Flop came J89. I bet and he raised. I called and 7 came. He bet big and I was forced to fold. Down to dangerous levels now.
Two hands later, and Ive got AQ. I reraise and flop comes KQx, He checks and I bet all in (matching the pot). He flops KQ... I catch an A on river to suckout. Im still alive although not flourishing.

Just not my night. 0 for 3 on races and just not great cards. Granted, I didn't play great and couldn't get any momentum going.
