Made a Weekly Round 2 on P* - now what?

Finshed 55th out of 10,000 in Copernicus' FL O8 Freeroll today, so I guess I have an entry into a 'Weekly Round 2'. The Tourney window says all winners must manually register for a Weekly round 2 of your choice. I've never done this before - does that mean a choice of the Saturday or Sunday NLHE next week? I didn't see anything about a choice of games, so I am assuming it's NLHE only - I don't see any weekly round 2's for O8.

Can someone please set me straight?

Re: Made a Weekly Round 2 on P* - now what?

I do believe they only have two Round 2 tournaments per week, one on Saturday at 10:00am EST, one on Sunday at 2pm EST, and they are both NLHE. You can use the ticket to pick which of the two you'd like to play in. I'm not sure if it has to be this week or not, you may be able to hold a ticket for a while.

Congratulations! Those things are minefields, and it's very impressive to get that far in a field of 10000 people.

Thanks, Brett. I was hoping to not have to wade through a NLHE event, but i guess that's the way of the world.

If I am not mistaken, the Saturday tournament varies each week, and the Sunday one is NLHE. I have seen Stud and Limit holdem on Saturday round 2s before.

Really.....I hope that is indeed the case, and that I can hold on to my ticket for a few weeks until another game pops up on the Saturday ones. I'm pretty sure this week's Round 2's were NLHE only, so maybe I'll wait till next week and see what's available. Thanks for the heads up!

Re: Made a Weekly Round 2 on P* - now what?

Hi there, Just to let you know, I've had my points for over two months now (no time to play on Sat./Sun) and everytime I register/unregister they're still accepting them. Could be no time limit? Anyway, just my experience. mc

Your correct. I held onto my ticket for about 4 months before I had time to use it.
I just finished 110th out of 12k players. Not quite high enough for a damn ticket.

Congrats, and good luck.

I have played in 1 second round tourney, made about 5 bucks.........
