Chips: 529 | | | English only at the table online? I'm in a MTT, and two players are speaking a non-English language, plus a railbird is chiming in. I have no idea what language, but it's a little uncomfortable not knowing what they're saying..
Is this legal to do? |

Is this legal to do? | Tell them english only and if they continue, email support. I believe P* has the rule that english only at the tables unless its a language specific table as I believe they do offer some of those.

Profanity: We do not permit profane, vulgar, racist or abusive/insulting chat in our chat windows. We do have a feature by which certain profane words are asterisked out; A filtered word is one that has been deemed unacceptable on our poker site. Players attempting to bypass the filter may also be subject to a warning or revocation.
Begging/Solicitation: We do not permit players to beg or panhandle for chips, whether play money or real money. No solicitation is permitted in any poker game at any time. There are facilities in place to prevent many instances of solicitation.

Non-English chat: We are aware that our players are from around the world, and that for many of them English is not their first language. Chips: 280 | | | Re: English only at the table online? Happened to me a few times at Titan poker, but in the chat window at the beginning of each session, it says "english only chat". I politely asked them to keep their chat to english, and they just ignored me, so after asking them a few times, I went to live chat with customer support and let them know. They said they take these matters very seriously and they would review the chat logs, contact the people, and possibly ban them. |

Usually after I type something in English (without even saying "Hey, speak English!" or anything like that; just something at random), then everyone will start chatting in English. If they don't and I recognize enough words to notice that they're talking about the cards and/or players, then I just leave the table... but then again, I almost exclusively play cash games online. I guess you can't just up and leave in a tourney! |

Chips: 21 | | | Re: English only at the table online? I've experienced this in cash games at pokerroom, I just typed 'English please' into the chat, to no avail. Told support, don't know if they did anything about it. Nothing was apparent at the time. It does suck ass, and would be worse in a tourney as (as has been mentioned before) you really don't want to just up and leave. |
