Been getting burned by KQ (both suited and not suited) on the bubble of sit-n-gos today (three of them). One time I wasn't desperate, so I probably made the wrong decision, but the other two times I was getting short-stacked and I was in the small blind (big blind had a big ace both times grrrr). Just thought I would warn everybody about the eeeeevil marriage...

I can get away from it more easily than AK, even when it hits. I also tend to get paid well when it hits since no one really seems to put KQ in anyones hand ranges.

PF though, and in tourneys, I think it is a dif story and would start to agree with you.

The problem is if you're desperate and find yourself with KQ, anybody with an ace will call you and will be up to a 70% favorite (88%+ if he has AA). Fortunately, you're in great shape if nobody has an ace and you may get the blinds without a fight. Everybody had an ace on me today.

Without those aces, I'd be in-the-money on about 80% of my sit-n-gos today. Needless to say, if a n00b like me who has only glanced briefly at Sit 'n Go Strategy finishes in the money that much, then the UB $.50 and $1.00 sit-n-gos are cake.
