Re: Niiiiiiice

Why do people call all ins so dang early in a tourney, and why won't they do it when I have the nuts?

With that chipstack, if you don't win this tourney, you suck.

Re: Niiiiiiice

Those are just plain crazy matches.

The 5-way all-in on the first hand (that I showed in a post yesterday) is the record as far as I've seen. But this 4-way just boggles the mind.

Re: Niiiiiiice

With these 1st- and 2nd-hand All-in fests, what hand would you go all in with if you think you will face 2 or 3 (or 4) all-in opponents? Probably depends how important the tourney is to you. The more important it is, probably the more you want to avoid an all-in confrontation.

AA
KK
QQ
JJ
TT

These are of little importance to me (70fpp out 10k fpp) but I might push with AK in LP but I wouldn't call multiple all-ins with it. AA/KK/QQ would be auto calls of an all-in though I probably only raise a sizable amount with them if I'm the 1st raise though I may re-raise all-in if I think I'll get a caller. JJ/TT are much more questionable and I'd fold them to an all-in.

Re: Niiiiiiice

These are soooo much fun.

I push with A-A pre-flop, get called by A-A. I lose to a flush.

On to the next 70....

Re: Niiiiiiice

Finished 2nd in two of these at lunch. Had a +2:1 advantage going into HU in both only to watch as my AK lost to JT, AJ lost to KT, etc. I'm still something like 3/15 in these so I figure I'm +$22.50 (33/(15*.70).
