Ok so I was doing some reading on 2+2 and this thread poped up... Week-long prop bet - Two Plus Two Forums and it got me to thinking... CT Bankroll Building Challenge

The basic jest of it was a guy took $20 and made it into $1000 in 7 days. Now I dont have that kind of time to invest in this but it did get me to thinking.

Is there anyone would like to have a bankroll building challenge? I figure something smallish say $25. If you want to lay odds thats ok as well. It would comprise of 2 peeps going head up and the winner winning the bet. Or we could have just a large group go at it and the overall winner would take the pot.

Now if you would like to increase the stakes between each other thats fine by me. So any takers?

I'd love to but simply don't have the time this month. I haven't been able to play more then a few thousand hands for the last few months.

FYI, this has been done before around here and seem to remember there was some sort of prize for the winner (Speakeasy?)

I would love to do this. I need the motivation. It took me 6 months to go from $120 to $500 playing 10NL and $2 SNGs. Then I upped to $11 SNGs and 25NL to get up to $800. Not bad for about 16,000 hands.
I don't think I can play the amount I would need to play in order to make a real showing. AND with 30 days of play, my wife will kill me. I will follow this thread and see what shakes out.

Well we would start with $50 in our accts and at the end of 30 days the one with the most $$ in there respected P* acct would win the bet. If you would like we can lay odds or just do it straight up. To add another twist we could shoot for a goal and if you hit it you win. I am game for just about anything.

Starting at $50 just makes sure we start at the same level... DONKAMENT TIME!! wOOt!!!

What do you mean by BUILD the bankroll. You mean you can actually increase the size of the account at P* (or other sites)???

I have been running so terrible lately that maybe this will be a catalyst. Any good articles to read on bankroll management/building??? I am obviously not doing something right

Yeah start with $50 and depending on how its structured have a goal or the most after 30 days. Either way. I haven't run the best either but maybe this will be modivation to be more patient player....
