Chips: 5,839 | | | Good P* FPP Use I've been playing a bunch of the 70fpp satellites to the Sunday 100k with some success.
I've played 31 of them in the last 2 weeks and won 7 of them (they are winner take all). I then unregister from the tourney and get $11 in T$ and then use them to play regular SNGs.
So far, I've converted 2170 fpps into $76.50 in real $$$ which is about $0.035/fpp which is a fairly good value. Also, I'm getting over 1:1 on T$ to real $ rate as I still have a few T$ in the bank. |

Again, slowly? |

I dont have any cash on there right now, lost it all , but i do have about 500fpp that i would like to use to enter toruny's. The only one's I've seen are the 10fpp tourny's which have a total free roll prize pool of $500.00.

Again, slowly? | If you've earned any Frequent Player Points (fpps) while playing real money games at P*, you can cash them in for entry into a satellite for the Sunday 100k tourney. If you then unregister from the tournament, you get what are called tournament dollars (T$). You can use these T$ to pay the entry fee for tournaments or SNGs. If you win the tourney/sng, you get real money. Basically, its a way to convert you fpps into real money. If you look at the items in the FPP Store, I don't think the fpps are are worth then $0.018/fpp or so. If you are any good, you can make more using them in the manner I've described above. |

Chips: 9,301 | | | Re: Good P* FPP Use So far, I've played in four. Never did better than third, but always went out when I got sucked out on. The competition isn't very good, but the aggression is scary at first.
I tend to sit back for the first few rounds and only play super premium hands, because any bet is likely to be reraised all-in. Then I start playing more normal poker. Any other hints on strategy in these crazy things?

Chips: 4,346 | | | Re: Good P* FPP Use Until the first four people get knocked out, basically play only AK, KK or AA. Even if you are UTG on the first hand w AA, PUSH. You will get callers. Cold overcallers who have K9o, or 67s, or A3o. The players are bad. It's a tournament that cost 70 cents, and not even "real money" 70 cents!!
Take chances early with premium hands or flopped draws. Doubling or tripling up early is a big advantage.
The most skilled player will win more of these than unskilled, but these truly are luckfests.
