Re: I love these things

Glad somebody loves them A few Saturdays back I was burning up some FPP's...I am not exaggerating, I played 10 of these consecutively. Got heads up in eight of them and did not win one. In at least 5 of the 8 I was chipleader going in to heads up, and by at least 2-1 in 3 of those. In 2 of these I had my opponent down to pocket change, all in preflop, and dominated, only for the four outer to hit and flip the momentum right around. In all but 1 of these heads up matches, when I went bust I started with the best hand. It was definitely one of the most unlikely stretches of poker that I've seen and imagine most anyone has...Boo hoo right?

They defintely require a different approach then most of the other tournies I play in. I find that I need to be much more aggressive and tricky in them at least early on. Once you get down to like 4 players, the play is a bit more traditional.

I had a good run yesterday and won like 3 of 11 of them. Played in 2 $5 MTT with part of the winnings and made $9 real dollars
