Re: Donkeyplay on purpose gets you the money!

Yeah, I like how you played this. With a guy making "less than intelligent" calls/bets, putting in that small bet on the flop and checking the turn is just what the doctor ordered. With someone like that guy you can easily convince them that your weak and often times they'll try to make a play at you. It still does not justify his call with A high.

Re: Donkeyplay on purpose gets you the money!

Think my only explanation for the call is:
It's only 2 bucks more! I wanna see his cards....

Re: Donkeyplay on purpose gets you the money!

Lots of reasons for play like this.
A. If he does it a lot, he's a donk.
B. He thinks your bluffing (which i do a lot with a pair on the board, but if it doesn't work the first time its probably not going to the second).
C. He wants to see what your betting with(this make no sense online since your not playing the same people for very long).

A. correct
B. Dosn't make much sense. Even if he thought I was bluffing, I did raise preflop, so basicly the only hand he could beat was KJ. He couldn't beat KQ or any other Ace.
C. As you mentioned, makes no sense.

That crossed my mind too.
Maybe he was playing HORSE the other way around.
Playing one table Holdem, one Stud, one Omaha and a Razz table.
